Short and fun tunes casually put together during my commute to work which would take me about three hours. During this time I would make short tracks on my phone using the imaschine app. This mix is a compilation of those songs. Very different from the ambient work that I’ve released, nonetheless I had a great time working out these little nuggets. Hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I did. Thanks for listening.
Hello and welcome,
Currently trying my best to complete a 4 track EP. It’s taken a few years to put these tracks together but the obstacles just kept mounting. Recently we’ve been evicted from our studio and had to downsize. Creating a new space and getting use to how the it behaves has been time consuming to say the least. Also one of the tracks was deleted while doing a routine backup, oops! Deadlines have been set for early July for album completion, possibly sooner. Onwards and upwards.
Here is a brief demo of the work so far.
New Release Announcement:
M10 was self-released on cassette tape in 2008. A portion of the track was released on Xynthetic Netlabel under the name ‘Comrade’. This is an extended and remastered version put together for your listening pleasure. Visit the Bandcamp page for full download. Thanks.
Studio renovations have finally come to a close. It’s been six months of wonkyness, but we got through it. The room sounds perfect, and is very pleasing to spend time in. I’d like to send out a big thank you to my studio mate Oliver Nickels for his unrelenting commitment to the space, and doing most of the work, as he is more skilled with a saw then I am. Given the shake up and reno, we decided to rename the space to ‘Ground Control Studio’. In good hands at the ACME Studios building, just far enough from the condo overlords. Currently working on a couple of releases, tracks are ready to go, just waiting fro things for wrap up. Cheers
Happy Alien Day! Composed almost entirely out of samples from this amazing movie. I’ve performed this piece, to a great response, at the Rio Theater during last years Eye of the Storm event. The film has been edited to showcase the art work, and cinematography that went into making this classic movie. I am a huge H.R Giger fan, that is what led me to create this piece. Hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed making it, cheers!
Currently working on more releases, from the occasional Soundcloud track to a potential album release. Just sent in a completed remix to Chambers, Debacle Records. So keep your eyes out, more things to come and soon.
I’ve been looking for a new\used laptop. My last Macbook Pro, the battery, it exploded in the middle of the night, scaring the crap outta me. So playing gigs is not even possible until I get a new one. By September 2016 I hope to secure some dates, really looking forward to it. While looking online I stumbled onto something pretty interesting I want to talk about for a bit. Basically it was the different type of medicines. The differences and both advantages and disadvantages of conventional medicine over its alternatives. People are so used to going straight to the doctor for any illness, and are often prescribed medication with known and common side-effects. Some natural alternatives often provide a safer route back to good health on many common ailments. It was eye-opening, as it is topic not often considered. If you’re curious and would like to know more then you can click to read more about medicines.
Recently I’ve been building a ‘Musician Page‘ on Facebook.Sometimes doing these social media pages seems so redundant, but I like the different personalities each social media site allows you to create. I’m on Vine, Instagram, Facebook, Soundcloud, Vimeo, Bandcamp and Twitter.
Thank you in advance for your support.
